Indians Team Report
The Indians resume play following the All-Star break Friday in Seattle, the start of a six-game West Coast trip. Cleveland is in last place in the AL Central with a 41-53 record. A year ago at the break, the Indians were 52-36, in second place in the division, one game out of first. Injuries and poor performances are to blame for the Indians' disappointing season. General manager Mark Shapiro says the second half of the season will be devoted mainly to player development and evaluation.

News: Lee and Milwaukee ace Ben Sheets were picked as the starting pitchers for Tuesday night's All-Star game at Yankee Stadium.
Impact: Lee is 12-2 with a 2.31 ERA, a remarkable resurgence after the left-hander was demoted to the minors last season. He was chosen by American League manager Terry Francona of Boston.
