Chipper Jones has joked in the past that the baseball gods were getting some overdue revenge against the Braves all at once for their unparalleled 14 years of postseason success. If the last two days are any indication, Jones might be on to something. Atlanta played a rain-delayed, marathon, 562-pitch, 5-hour and 35-minute, 17-inning game against the Houston Astros on Sunday. Jair Jurrjens allowed one run in six innings as the Atlanta Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-3. Mark Kotsay had three hits, two runs and talks to FSN after the game.
