News: Guthrie has been traded to the Rockies for Jason Hammel and Matt Lindstrom, the Baltimore Sun reports.
Impact: While Guthrie desperately needed a move out of the AL East, going to Coors Field doesn't really help much, given that he's a pitch-to-contact pitcher that doesn't get an especially high number of grounders.

News: The Rockies and Belisle agreed to a one-year deal Friday, The Sports Xchange reports.
Impact: Belisle's deal will pay him $4.1 million in 2012 and includes a mutual option for next season. In 74 games last season, Belisle was 10-4 with a 3.25 ERA last season, striking out 58 batters and walking 14 in 72 innings. Coming off a spectacular 2011 season, Belisle will again play a key role in the Rockies bullpen.
