Ferrari has yet to make a decision over the future of team advisor Michael Schumacher.

The seven-time world champion is out of contract at the end of next year, and the Maranello-based team have not yet decided if they need to keep the German on.

Team Principal Stefano Domenicali declared to 'Autosprint': "He still has a contract with us for next year, so he'll stay with us. The activities he has done with us both in the road car department and in the racing one will carry on.

"However, and I'm just saying this from a personal point of view, it's clear that everything must be assessed for what it can bring. So, during the season we'll have discussions to understand whether this collaboration will keep on going."

Schumacher has been with Ferrari since 1996 when he joined as then double world champion from the Benetton team.
