| News: Menard started the Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway from the 17th position on Sunday. The Wisconsin native was able to break into the Top 10 late, bringing home his first Top-10 finish of the 2013 season, rcrracing.com reports.

Impact: The No. 27 Chevrolet team rolled to a 10th-place finish thanks to Menard's late charge in the Kobalt Tools 400. The first Top-10 finish of the season is affirmation of the team's capability on intermediate ovals and a good boost in the standings as well. Menard climbed to 12th-place in the championship standings after his Vegas Top 10. | |
