| News: Edwards finished fifth in the Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

Impact: The No. 99 Ford team stayed on a roll in Sin City. Edwards didn't lead a lap but he used sound pit strategy and great moves on the track to stay in the Top 10 all day long in the Kobalt Tools 400. In the last third of the race he solidified his spot inside the Top 5 and finish there after 400 miles of action at the intermediate oval. Edwards climbs six spots to fifth-place overall in the championship standings after Vegas. | |
