| News: Caterpillar will be the primary sponsor on Burton's No. 31 Chevy for 21 of the 36 Sprint Cup races in 2012. Caterpillar also will sponsor the team in three non-points events: the Budweiser Shootout, Gatorade Duels at Daytona and the Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte, the Peoria Journal Star reports.

Impact: The No. 31 team is looking pretty solid on their sponsorship for 2012, despite Burton's lackluster performance last season. CAT will return and pick up most of the season on the RCR Chevrolet. In addition to CAT, Burton will have primary sponsorship support from BB&T and General Mills. | |
