| News: Gordon finished 35th in the Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway on Saturday night.

Impact: The Hendrick Motorsports star had another tough weekend at the track on Saturday at Darlington Raceway. Gordon's No. 24 Chevrolet cut more than one tire over the middle part of the event. At one point he pulled the car behind the wall for the team to make repairs. The time spent off track put Gordon down 29 laps to the leaders and saddled him with the poor finish. Gordon slips yet another spot to 24th-place in the driver point standings. | |
