News: Harvick's No. 29 Chevrolet blew an engine during Happy Hour practice for the Sprint All-Star Challenge at Charlotte Motor Speedway Friday afternoon. Impact: During the final minutes of final practice for the All-Star Challenge, the power plant in the No. 29 Chevrolet expired. Harvick hadn't been particularly fast in the session, so the loss of the engine could be a blessing in disguise. The RCR team will replace the engine for Harvick's qualifying run later Friday night at CMS.(RotoWire, )

News: Harvick finished fifth in the Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway Saturday night. Impact: The RCR star rebounded from his poor Talladega finish to get back into the Top 5 at Darlington Raceway Saturday night. Harvick raced inside the Top 10 most of the night, but was able to make up ground on the final green flag run and finish in the Top 5 for the second time in the last three races. It was his best Darlington finish since 2002. Harvick moves up two spots to 10th-place in the series standings as a result.(RotoWire, )
