News: It was announced that Monster Energy will sponsor Busch and the No. 51 Chevy of Phoenix Racing in Saturday night's NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, True Speed Communications PR reports. Impact: Thanks to the Monster Energy sponsorship, Busch will get to race on All-Star night at Charlotte. The Phoenix Racing No. 51 team would have likely lacked the funds to enter the veteran driver in an unsponsored car. Busch faces an uphill battle to win his second All-Star Challenge.(RotoWire, )

News: NASCAR has fined Busch, driver of the No. 51 car in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, $50,000 and placed him on NASCAR probation until July 25 for his actions during the May 12 race at Darlington Raceway, NASCAR PR reports. Impact: Busch's reckless driving on pit road last weekend and altercation between the No. 51 and No. 39 teams that resulted from the incident are the reason that NASCAR has slapped the veteran driver with a $50,000 fine and probation. In addition, a crew member of Busch's team has been handed a $5,000 fine for interfering with a member of the broadcast media. No matter who Busch races for he just can't seem to outrun his bad temper and bad reputation.(RotoWire, )
