Restarting the final 10-lap shootout in the fourth spot, Ambrose was able to gain one position on Lap 82 before getting shuffled back to seventh when the checkered flag flew on Lap 90, richardpettymotorsports.com reports. | Impact: It was a great All-Star debut for Ambrose. His No. 9 Ford was as fast or faster than the leaders at times during this exhibition event. However, he just couldn't gain the valuable track position and clean air of running out front that is so crucial at an oval like Charlotte.
