News: Kenseth won the second segment of the All-Star Challenge at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday night. [-]
Impact: Kenseth got a break when Carl Edwards' No. 99 Ford had an engine failure that brought out the caution flag during the second segment. The restart with 10 laps to go made for a good sprint to run down leader Denny Hamlin, who was on old tires. Kenseth earns the second starting spot going into the pits for the final 10-lap segment.
