News: Smith won the Aaron's 312 Nationwide Series race at Talladega Superspeedway Saturday afternoon. Impact: The JR Motorsports driver led seven laps over the second half of the race and battled with Kurt Busch and Austin Dillon in the closing laps. As the teams approached the finish line on the white-flag lap, there was a big crash behind the leaders and the caution flag came out within sight of the finish. Smith was declared the winner on several video replays as he had the lead over Joey Logano and Kasey Kahne as the caution came out. It was his first win of the season and second career Nationwide Series victory. Smith took the championship standings lead from Sam Hornish Jr. and now leads the Penske Racing driver by 27 points.(RotoWire, )
