| News: Stewart has never been one to look too far down the road, so it's no surprise that the defending NASCAR Sprint Cup champion balks when asked if his Stewart-Haas Racing team is the favorite heading into the 2012 season, scenedaily.com reports.

Impact: Stewart hasn't forgotten the struggles it's take to win last season's championship or his prior two championships. So after many seasons and all that hardware, Stewart has at least learned humility. The addition of Steve Addington as crew chief of the No. 14 team will be an adjustment period, but hopefully one that will pay dividends in the end. We expect Stewart to win races in 2012 and contend for the championship yet again. | |
