| News: Stewart finished third in the Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway on Saturday night.

Impact: The reigning Sprint Cup Series champion's car came to life late in the Bojangles' Southern 500. For most of the night the No. 14 Chevrolet was just a Top 15 car, but as the laps grew short Stewart's Impala became one of the fastest cars on the Darlington oval. Stewart was able to use good pit strategy and the strong car to forge his fourth Top-5 finish of the season. The veteran driver remains seventh in the overall driver standings. | |
