| News: Bayne and the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane crew overcame fueling issues and damage from a crash to post their second Top-10 finish in four starts this season at Talladega Superspeedway, woodbrothersracing.com reports.

Impact: Bayne and the No. 21 team raced in the Top 15 for most of Sunday's Aaron's 499. However, the young driver fell one lap down when his Ford's gas tank ran dry on a long green-flag run. Bayne rallied to get back on the lead lap later and overcome a spin when he made contact with Casey Mears during a late-race crash. Bayne soldiered through the adversity to score his second Top 10 of the season. This part-time team continues to be a fantasy-worthy selection each time the series visits intermediate ovals and super speedways. | |
