RACE CALLED - 5:44 p.m. ET - JOEY LOGANO WINS

RED FLAG - 5:28 p.m. ET: Rain.

Lap 274 (caution): Cars brought down pit road.

CAUTION 11 - Laps 268: Rain showers. Joey Logano leads ... will they call the race. Logano's crew chief, Greg Zippadelli, is telling his driver to save as much fuel as humanly possible.

Lap 264: Ryan Newman reports that he's running out of fuel and he pits. Joey Logano takes thea lead. Newman stalls it on pit road and he cannot get it restarted - tough luck for him as rain is being reported trackside, so if he could have held on he could have won.

Lap 251: 50 laps remaining.

Lap 247: Bobby Labonte pits. Ryan Newman takes the lead.

Lap 238: Greg Biffle pits. Bobby Labonte is the new race leader.

Lap 237: Mark Martin pits. Greg Biffle is your new race leader.

Lap 235: Race leader Tony Stewart pits, so does Jeff Gordon, Kurt Busch, Sam Hornish Jr., Jimmie Johnson, etc. Mark Martin takes lead.

Lap 234: Kyle Busch pits.

Lap 229: Dale Earnhardt Jr. (10th) says "Track's tight. Car's tight."

Lap 222: Carl Edwards pits early. He is hoping a yellow doesn't come out and he gets back into the pit rotation (although this round of stops is expected to be the last one of the day). Right rear was the reason for the early pit.

Lap 214: Kevin Harvick back on track, 37 laps down.

Lap 203: After battling for a few laps, Dale Earnhardt Jr. takes eighth place from Kasey Kahne.

Lap 196: Tony Stewart passes Jeff Gordon in Turn 4 to nab the lead.

GREEN FLAG! Jeff Gordon leads the field to the green. Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch, Sam Hornish Jr. and Mark Martin round out the top five. Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Juan Pablo Montoya, Jimmie Johnson and Clint Bowyer complete the top 10.

CAUTION 10 - Laps 190-194: Scott Speed hits the wall between Turns 1 and 2.

Lap 189: What a wild few laps for Kurt Busch. First he went side-to-side with Jeff Gordon for the lead, thne he fell back a bit and went side-to-side with Tony Stewart, then he fell back more and pushed Jimmie Johnson out of the groove all in a manner of seconds.

GREEN FLAG! Jeff Gordon leads the field to the green.

Martin Truex after he was punted from behind by Kyle Busch to start the big crash: "I don't know who spun their tires, but that happens, that's part of racing," said Truex, who was seventh on the restart. "(Kyle) just can't let off. He's always trying to be a hero and that p***** me off."

CAUTION 9 - Laps 183-187: Joey Logano had a left rear tire go down, causing him to spin and bring out the caution.

Richard Childress who lost the 29 and 31 in the wreck, "I lost two cars in it. That's the way it goes. That's what keeps you coming back." Jeff Burton and Kevin Harvick were running 14th and 15th, respectively before the wreck."

GREEN FLAG! Jeff Gordon leads the field to the green. For the third straight time, he chooses to restart from the outside.

RED FLAG RESCINDED - 4:23 p.m. ET

So what triggered the incident? Dale Earnhardt Jr. spun his tires and cars just backed up right behind. Dale Earnhardt - Earnhardt, "I'm assuming all of that is because I didn't get a good restart. I spun the (heck) out of my tires."

Kevin Harvick on the wreck: "They just started wrecking in front of us I tired to slow down and just ended up in the middle of it."

RED FLAG - 4:07 p.m. ET: Cleanup for the big crash.

CAUTION 8 - Laps 175-179: BIG ACCIDENT right after the restart. Martin Truex Jr. gets spun out by Kyle Busch right after the green flag, triggering a multi-car chain reaction. It looks like Busch didn't see Truex. Drivers involved in the incident include Truex, Casey Mears, Jeff Burton, Kevin Harvick, David Ragan, Brian Vickers and David Reutimann. Big damage to a lot of cars. This is a big blow to the Richard Childress camp - they needed a big day and this crash took out three of their cars.

CAUTION 7 - Laps 169-174: Paul Menard gets into the wall on the frontstretch to bring out the caution. Joey Logano gets the Lucky Dog free pass. A few teams pit during this caution.

Lap 164: Jimmie Johnson loses two spots and drops to sixth.

Lap 159: WOW! They go three-wide for the lead. Jeff Gordon keeps it, but Kurt Busch and Jimmie Johnson want it bad. Oh by the way, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is right there in fourth..

CAUTION 6 - Laps 151-157: Debris in Turn 2. Most everybody comes in for service. Jeff Gordon edges Kurt Busch out of pit road, followed by former leader Jimmie Johnson. "Let's get some spots here and we'll get another shot at it in a bit," said Johnson.

Lap 148: Jeff Burton passes Kyle Busch for eighth. Busch is sliding back and not happy about it.

Lap 145: Mark Martin takes over seventh. Sprinkles reported throughout track.

Lap 142: Jimmie Johnson just lapped 23rd-place Joey Logano.

Lap 138: Jimmie Johnson has a 0.840 second lead on teammate Jeff Gordon - he is looking really strong out front.

Lap 133: Robby Gordon pits, Jimmie Johnson reclaism the lead and this ends the pit cycle -- all under green.

Lap 132: Reed Sorenson pits, Robby Gordon takes the lead.

Lap 131: Denny Hamlin pits, Reed Sorenson takes the lead.

Lap 129: Juan Pablo Montoya pits from the lead. Denny Hamlin takes the lead.

Lap 126: Jimmie Johnson pits from the lead, Juan Pablo Montoya assumes the lead.

Lap 122: Dale Earnhardt Jr. pits from fifth.

Lap 119: Pit sequence begins with Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch coming in for service.

Lap 115: Only 28 cars remain on the lead lap right now. Jimmie Johnson's lead over teammate Jeff Gordon is 1.136 seconds

Lap 100: Jimmie Johnson has been on a tear since the restart and is now up to 50 laps led today. Jeff Gordon, Kurt Busch, Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch round out the top five.

CAUTION 5 - Laps 60-63: Accident in Turn 2. Elliott Sadler got loose and got into Scott Speed who got into Michael Waltrip to bring out the caution. Robby Gordon also got a piece of it.

Lap 57: Four Hendrick Motorsports cars in the top 10 - Jimmie Johnson (1st), Jeff Gordon (2nd), Mark Martin (5th) and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (8th).

Lap 50: Jimmie Johnson powers past his teammate Jeff Gordon to take the lead. Kyle Busch moves to second.

CAUTION 4 - Laps 45-48: As announced before the race, this is a competition caution so teams can check tire wear. Teams will be able to refuel from now on. No lucky dog free pass awarded as everybody on track is on the lead lap. A variety of strategies on pit road, most teams choose to go with two tires. Jeff Gordon leads the field out, followed by Johnson, Biffle, Kyle Busch and Kurt Busch.

Lap 33: Patrick Carpentier has a broken brake line on his car. His day is likely done. Also, Dave Blaney has gone to the garage.

Lap 32: Kurt Busch uses the outside line to his benefit, reclaims the lead. Outside line seems to be the stronger line during restarts.

CAUTION 3 - Laps 27-31: 37th-place AJ Allmendinger spins in Turn 2 to bring out the caution. Keeps it off the track however, so he should be fine. Jamie McMurray will get the lucky dog free pass and get back on the lead lap. As a result of the early cautions, NASCAR has moved the competition caution to Lap 45.

Lap 26: The double file restarts definitely create excitement.

CAUTION 2 - Laps 21-25: 17th-place Jamie McMurray hits the wall in Turn 4 - got punted by Kevin Harvick into the wall. McMurray hit the wall flush with his rear end. The crash didn't look malicious as it simply looked like Harvick slid up the track before making contact with McMurray. Denny Hamlin and a few others pit during this caution.

Lap 20: Jeff Gordon uses the outside line to his advantage to take the lead immediately after the caution.

GREEN FLAG! Kurt Busch leads the field to the green..

CAUTION 1 - Laps 16-19: Patrick Carpentier gets into the Turn 4 wall to bring out the caution. A few cars come down pit road, but remember that they cannot refuel until the competition caution on Lap 35 so only tires and adjustments. Polesitter Tony Stewart is one of the drivers who came in. Michael Waltrip was too fast entering pit road, so he will restart from the tail end of the longest line.

Lap 15: Jeff Gordon back up to second. Juan Pablo Montoya moves to sixth.

Lap 13: Ryan Newman gets passed by Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart and Juan Pablo Montoya to drop from fifth to eighth in that one lap.

Lap 9: Jimmie Johnson up to fourth.

Lap 8: Greg Biffle moves up to second, Kyle Busch up to ninth.

Lap 7: After battling for several laps, Kurt Busch completes the pass in Turn 1 to take over the lead from Jeff Gordon.

Lap 4: Greg Biffle has moved up to third. Polesitter Tony Stewart has dropped to seventh.

Lap 1: Jeff Gordon takes the top spot from Tony Stewart, but is getting challenged by Kurt Busch for the position.

Today's race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is scheduled to be 301 laps (318 miles).

Prerace festivities are complete at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, it's time to go racing.

NASCAR just confirmed no cars are headed to the rear of the field for the start of today's race. The lineup was set by owner points after qualifying was rained out Friday. See where your favorite is starting

Weather looks to be a factor today. The skies look cloudy, but we should be able to start today's race on time. Whether we get further than halfway, however, is the question.

NASCAR announced during today's drivers meeting that there will be a competition caution on Lap 35. Teams will not be able to refuel until that point.
