Michael McDowell and Robby Gordon earn the transfer spots and will race in Sunday's Daytona 500.

Lap 59: The battle at the front is fierce. Tony Stewart takes the white flag.
Lap 58: Dale Earnhardt Jr. is pushing Carl Edwards on the outside. The two are making up ground on Tony Stewart.
Lap 57: Jeff Burton is leading a challenge from the outside line; Tony Stewart holds the lead at the line. Aric Almirola moves to the outside to make it three wide behind the leaders.

Lap 35: Marcos Ambrose has pulled out to start a line to the outside. He is six cars behind leader Denny Hamlin, with the front five single file.

Lap 29: David Stremme, locked into the race, pulls into the garage.
Lap 26: Mike Wallace's car is being sent to the garage by NASCAR officials.
Lap 25: Denny Hamlin leads Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. at the front of the pack. A group has dropped back and rides single-file at the rear, including Carl Edwards.
Lap 24: Mike Wallace returns to the track. Denny Hamlin continues to lead.

Lap 14: Marcos Ambrose leads the field with a tight pack behind him.
