Lap 55: Kyle Busch leads with five to go!
Lap 52: Bowyer took the lead - then went from first to fifth place in the blink of an eye!
Radio chatter on Lap 51: Crew Chief Matt Borland warns Newman that the right rear quarter panel is compromised. They cant guarantee it will stay off of the tire. Newman replies, "It's ok. I dont see any smoke".
Lap 50: 10 laps remaining - Kyle Busch leads. Bowyer, Menard, Martin and Kenseth round out top five.
Lap 47: It's the Toyota show up front with Busch and Bowyer - Kahne has a Chevrolet in third - but Kenseth in fourth rounds out the front-running Toyota pack.
Lap 44: Well, that round of pit stops certainly shakes up the running order - Kyle Busch now leads. Bowyer, Kenseth, Kahne and Menard are your top five.
Radio chatter on Lap 43: Gordon: "That's something we've got to work on. Sorry guys."
Lap 43: Stenhouse and Labonte get pit road penalties as well.
Gordon has been domniant today, but this drive-through penalty will send him into the pack.
Lap 42: Oh no! Jeff Gordon hit with a pit road speeding penalty - too fast entering pit road!
Lap 42: The rest of the cars that didn't pit last time around - including Kenseth and Kyle Busch come in.
Lap 41: Wow! Big pack of cars come down pit road - Newman tried to come down the pits but spins on track as he couldn't slow down in time! Newman saves it - and is able to limp around the track with damage from the spin.

Lap 32: We are about 5-10 laps away from green-flag pit stops.

Lap 14: Top nine cars have pulled away, then there is a two-car pack, and then the rest of the cars.
Lap 10: Drivers have gotten in line now after a crazy start, but the pace is over 197 MPH so this is anything but a afternoon drive.

Lap 5: Top four racers feature two Chevrolets, a Toyota and a Ford right now.
Lap 4: Jeff Gordon is alone up front, but right behind him they are two-wide all the way to the back.

Lap 2: Wow, Newman dropping from the lead to about 15th - car got a little squirrely and he got off the gas coming off Turn 2. Gordon to the lead!
Lap 1: Two-by-two at the front between Gordon and Newman! Newman leads the first lap!
