NASCAR's offseason is coming to a close, but drivers have certainly made the most of their time in the last couple of months. Everyone, including Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart (left) and runner-up Carl Edwards, seen here shaking hands after the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion's Week Awards Ceremony, took some time to kick back and enjoy life. 

So what do drivers do to have a little fun when the racing season is over? Take a look.

Jeff Gordon and his wife, Ingrid Vandebosch, spent time at Super Bowl XLVI between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants at Lucas Oil Stadium.

NASCAR drivers Kasey Kahne (left), Clint Bowyer (center) and Kyle Busch are at the Crown Royal Heroes Tailgate Party in Indianapolis. The drivers are supporting the "Your Hero's Name Here" program, which will award naming rights to the Brickyard 400 to a hero. Crown Royal sends the camo bags to troops overseas.

Kevin Harvick had some fun while promoting the March 11 Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Harvick took some time to shoot craps with fans at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. Fans won the opportunity to play craps with Kevin through radio station, TV station and Internet outlet contests.

AJ Allmendinger took on the best in the world in the 50th anniversary Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway - and his team ended up taking the win. Not a bad way to spend a weekend away from, well, the Cup cars.

Robby Gordon spent his offseason focusing on his annual challenge in the Dakar Rally. He challenged the frontrunners throughout the event, ran second overall for much of it and won two stages before finishing fifth. Not a bad start to 2012.

Ragan (second from left) raffled off a Signature Custom Motorcycle at the 2012 Ice Cold Shriners Bowl at Lanier National Speedway, a Late Model race from which all proceeds go to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. After the raffle, Ragan presented a check for $20,000 to the hospital. Ragan’s donations to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, through personal donations and help from the Coca-Cola Chug for Charity campaign, have reached a total of $150,000.

Brad Keselowski (pictured) and Joey Logano helped bring holiday cheer, smiles and good times to troops and their families on the NASCAR-USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba during their NASCAR-USO visit Dec. 12-14. During the visit, they visited hundreds of sailors and coast guardsmen and their families. The pair also dined with troops, visited the U.S. Navy Hospital, signed autographs and patrolled the waters with service members.

Regan Smith and Megan Mayhew exchanged wedding vows Nov. 26 in Florida. Smith will begin his fourth season in 2012 as the driver of the No. 78 Furniture Row Chevrolet in the Sprint Cup Series. Mayhew, a graduate of North Carolina-Charlotte, taught mathematics and science in the North Carolina public school system.

Jimmie Johnson took a lap on the fun side, making an appearance on The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. During the show, Stephen Colbert challenged Johnson to an office chair race - then held off the five-time Sprint Cup champion in a two-lap run.

Kyle Busch stayed a little longer in Las Vegas than some of the Cup competitors. On Dec. 6, Busch slipped into a new role as he presented the American Country Awards Female Artist of the Year at the MGM Grand.

David Ragan may not have his NASCAR plans set for 2012, but he's got at least one thing planned. The former driver of the No. 6 UPS Ford got engaged to long-time girlfriend Jacquelyn Ann Butler during the offseason, and they plan to get married in December 2012.

While some drivers are staying as far away from the racetrack as possible, Clint Bowyer and his new team are back at work. The Michael Waltrip Racing team took to the track on Dec. 13, allowing Bowyer, crew chief Brian Pattie and team to begin working on building chemistry for their first season together in 2012.

"You’ve got to have that chemistry and that relationship with them," Bowyer said. "I think that’s so important. Having success even on Sundays is being able to communicate and have a relationship with the guy that you are going about it with.”
