A new generation of fans are heading to the NASCAR track week to week and they are gaining a unique insight into the trials and tribulations the sport offers. The members of this entourage are the sons and daughters of Sprint Cup competitors, the children who are following their famous fathers to tracks across the country.

That’s certainly not a new concept in NASCAR racing. Families like the Woods, Pettys and Earnhardts filed into tracks on a weekly basis as their kids were growing up.

Here’s a look at some of the driving dads with their children at race tracks in recent years.
