The 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series season included a slate of past champions and race winners vying for the title.

So who took home the most trophies? Here's a look at the 2011 race winners.

Ryan Hunter-Reay earned his first victory of the 2011 season in the rain-shortened race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Ed Carpenter earned his first career IndyCar Series win, and the first for Sarah Fisher Racing, Sunday.

Dixon picked up his first win of the season with a dominant performance to finish the race on top at Mid-Ohio. His second came in September's farewell race in Japan.

Dan Wheldon of England returned to Victory Lane in dramatic fashion, winning the prestigious Indianapolis 500 following a last-turn crash by the leader.

After a horrific crash last year in the Indy 500 that knocked him out for the rest of the season, Conway battled back, winning his first race of the season on the streets of Long Beach.

Marco Andretti returned to Victory Lane after a five-year absence, taking the win at Iowa Speedway.
 

Two-time defending IZOD IndyCar Series champion Dario Franchitti started the 2011 season in style, winning the season opening Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Franchitti returned to Victory Lane at Texas Motor Speedway, taking the first of a pair of Twin 275s. A week later, he won in the series return to the Milwaukee Mile. And in July, he won in a crash-filled race in Toronto.
 

After a strong opening segment of the 2010 season, Will Power is showing his strength once more in 2011. Power won the Honda Indy Grand Prix at Barber Motorsports Park for his initial victory of the season, then followed that up with the victory in the rain-delayed Sao Paulo 300. He added a win in the second of a pair of races at Texas Motor Speedway to his tally in June and the race in Edmonton in July. Power then surged ahead of the field in victories with his repeat victory at Infineon Raceway in August. He made it two in a row in his next start, winning the inaugural Baltimore Grand Prix on Sept. 4.
