Atlanta Braves' Infielder Gives NASCAR-Inspired Interview
Atlanta Braves' infielder Elliot Johnson is obviously a NASCAR fan.
On Tuesday night, Johnson knocked a two-run triple to help the Braves beat the Cleveland Indians. After the game, he was asked about his speed. His response was amazing. If he's looking for a nickname, we recommend "Bill" Elliott Johnson.
FOX NASCAR analyst Michael Waltrip took notice.
Johnson is no stranger to impersonations. He also does a mean Harry Caray.
And it's also not the first NASCAR-inspired interview we've seen this year. Back in March, Dwyane Wade was asked what it meant for the Miami Heat to have the second-longest winning streak in NBA history. He dropped some Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby knowledge.
"If you're not first, you're last," Wade said. "That's what Ricky Bobby said."
We couldn't agree more.
