Speed Mail: Chevy wins battles but Ford has won recent wars
On any given Sunday, the cat that gets to victory lane first isn't always the one who is leading the standings. It has a lot to do with your consistency and productivity over the long haul. Chevrolet clearly has the numbers on its side, and they also have strong talent so you can't deny those facts. But this year, we'll see a little more parity. With their new Charger, the folks at Dodge are going to be more competitive in more races than they were only a year ago. Dodge also could be a spoiler when it comes to upsetting Chevrolet's domination in certain areas.

Retired from wrestling?
Mike from Baltimore, Md.: How did Sunday night's TNA wrestling match go, and when we can look forward to seeing you in the ring again?Jeff Hammond: Everything went great. My teammate/tag-team partner BG James and I did a great job working together. BG got after Michael Shane and Kazarian, and we were able to put away those two guys. They may have underestimated our ability to work that well together with my limited experience. It was fun to pull off a win, and that's the main thing. I made a statement: Don't challenge me unless you're ready to back it up. If we got back in the ring today, it may be a whole different story so you never know when that might happen.
I don't have an exact schedule if and when or if I'll ever go back in the ring. It wasn't done to further a wrestling career. It was done because I had been called out. That's what it was all about so we've taken care of it, and we'll have to work from there.
FOX race analyst Jeff Hammond led Darrell Waltrip to two of DW's three Winston Cup championships as his crew chief. They also teamed to win the 1989 Daytona 500.
