Team Mopar Drivers to Appear on 'SpeedFreaks'
by TonyStewart.com
One lucky member of the SpeedFreaks nation will get the chance to work alongside the Freaks and Mopar, as they heat up Speed Channel again this season. The chosen one, dubbed the "Freakin' Pit Lizard Reporter," will get an opportunity to strut his or her stuff throughout the day as the eyes and ears of the event. They'll get to chat it up with the stars of the World of Outlaws Sprint Series and celebrity Late Model event before they do battle on the half-mile Missouri State Fair Speedway. After making their television debut with Mopar and the SpeedFreaks, the lucky winner will then fly to Los Angeles to go on-air live with the Freaks as they rock out their June 26 radio show.
All this excitment comes together for a cause, though, as Team Mopar is proud to take part in the Michael Ross Memorial Foundation golf tournament. A cause championed by Team Mopar's Lasoski and Tony Stewart Motorsports team manager Tony Ross, the foundation raises money to assist the Bay Cliff Health Camp. Annually held in conjunction with the World of Outlaws Sprint Series invasion of the Missouri State Fair Speedway, the foundation was created in the memory of Ross' late son, Michael.
Air dates for the "SpeedFreaks" shows, which will be shown on the Speed Channel, will be announced in the coming weeks.
