CENTER LINE, Mich. - Team Mopar's Danny Lasoski and Sammy Swindell hope that Lady Luck smiles on them this weekend, as they prepare for the final World of Outlaws Sprint Series event of the season. The Dirt Track @ Las Vegas Motor Speedway will offer the best of opportunities, as racing on a half-mile racetrack is a strong suit for both competitors.

Lasoski's Sin City track record has been a highly decorated one, as "The Dude" has won four A-main feature events at the facility. He debuted the Mopar Aluminum 410 powerplant there in 2004, decisively winning the fall event. Lasoski is currently sixth in World of Outlaws Sprint Series points, only 53 points out of fifth place. Thus far in 2005, the No. 20 Tony Stewart Motorsports team has earned two A-main feature event wins and four A-main preliminary event victories. Two of the team's wins have come on half-mile racetracks.

Swindell enters this weekend's two-day event riding the momentum of a victory and second-place finish at the Thunderbowl Raceway in California last week.

The No. 5 Forbrook Motorsports team has earned three A-main feature event victories, as well as two A-main preliminary event wins in 2005. Four of Swindell's triumphs this season have come on half-mile racetracks. The Dirt Track @ Las Vegas Motor Speedway will provide Swindell an opportunity to pick up his second victory at the facility.

The World of Outlaws Sprint Series season finale is scheduled to take place at The Dirt Track @ Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 21 and 22.
