FOX Sports to present network's first-ever NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race
by FOX Sports
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) action races on to FOX this Saturday, March 31 (3:00 PM ET), live from Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, Virginia. Saturday's race marks the first of two NCTS events to air on FOX this season, while the remainder of the series is televised by FOX Sports' cable brother SPEED.

Saturday's NCTS broadcast, the first to air on national broadcast television since 2000 (on CBS), is being called by SPEED's experienced NCTS broadcasters. In addition, several members of the Emmy Award-winning NASCAR on FOX broadcast team are gearing up to contribute.
Coverage gets underway at 3:00 PM ET from FOX's renowned "Hollywood Hotel" traveling studio, and is hosted by the network's Chris Myers and Jeff Hammond. From there, coverage shifts to the broadcast booth where SPEED's NCTS race announcer Rick Allen and analyst Phil Parsons handle race coverage alongside NASCAR on FOX's Darrell Waltrip. Since trading in his racing helmet for a broadcaster's headset following the 2000 Cup season, the legendary Waltrip has competed in several NCTS events from Martinsville, and can provide a fresh perspective on Saturday's event.
Covering the action from pit road are SPEED's NCTS reporters Adam Alexander and Ray Dunlap. They are joined by former colleague Krista Voda, who covered NCTS action on SPEED last season before joining NASCAR on FOX's NEXTEL Cup broadcast team this season.
