NASCAR officials have placed Robby Gordon on probation until Dec. 31 following an alleged altercation with Kevin Conway last week at Las Vegas.

Here of the best of the past — and the ones we'd like to see in the future.Gordon, owner/driver of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series No. 7 Dodge, has been plaved on probation for "actions detrimental to stock car racing; involved in an altercation in the garage area with another competitor."
Conway said that he filed a police report after Gordon "physically attacked" him in the garage at Las Vegas.
