Quite a bit has changed since our last MVP rankings two weeks ago. Chris Paul, Derrick Rose and Dwyane Wade have played enough games to enter the conversation. Kevin Love was suspended for a face stomp and Chris Bosh has become a third wheel again. But some things don't change. Kobe keeps scoring, LeBron keeps dominating and the Thunder keep winning. Here's our top 10.

By most measurements, LeBron should be running away with his third MVP award, given his prodigious stats (29.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 6.8 apg) and overall domination. But then he gets outdueled by Brandon Jennings in Milwaukee and fails to make a basket in the second half of a loss in Orlando, raising doubts about his killer instinct and keeping this MVP race very much alive.

Durant didn't need to be a prolific scorer during the Thunder's strong start to the season. But they've needed more offense from him recently and he's delivered, averaging 31.4 points over the past two weeks. His late-game heroics at Portland and Golden State helped Oklahoma City continue to distance itself in the West and gave him more juice for a first MVP run.

Blake Griffin is the Clippers' most spectacular player, but Paul is their best. In just over a month, he's taken the reins of this team and steered it to a top-three position in the West. His stats (18.5 ppg, 8.9 apg) only tell part of the story. His competitive fire and clutch play reflect his true value for the Clips, who will need even more from Paul following Chauncey Billups' season-ending injury.

Four 30-point games in a week launched last year's MVP winner back into the race. But back spasms are the latest injury to slow down his candidacy. He probably doesn't care as long as the Bulls maintain the best record in the East.

The Lakers aren't winning enough for Kobe to be a strong MVP candidate, but it's hard to fault Bryant. Yes, maybe he's shooting a little too much. But with almost no offensive help on the perimeter, he's taking it upon himself to carry the load. It may result in his third scoring title in his 16th NBA season.

Howard's leadership and motivations were questioned during Orlando's ugly four-game implosion at the end of January. Since then, however, the Magic have righted their ship and the league's best center has continued to put up huge numbers, including a 25-point, 24-rebound performance in a win over Miami.

Manu Ginobili's out. Tim Duncan's old. That should spell the end of Spurs, but Parker isn't allowing it. The French point guard, 29, has been Le Magnifique as San Antonio's main man. He scored 38 on the Sixers four days after dropping 42 on the Thunder, both impressive wins as the Spurs have surged into second place in the Western Conference.

If you want a pure, pass-first point guard, look somewhere else. If you want an explosive scorer (22.3 ppg) and tenacious competitor, Westbrook's your guy. His 28-point, 11-rebound, eight-assist game at Portland was a good example of his overall impact for the league's best team.

He made headlines for the wrong reasons: a two-game suspension for stepping on the face of Luis Scola (left). But that shouldn't obscure Love's incredible production (25.0 ppg, 13.7 rpg) and his role in Minnesota's ascension this season.

Does anyone outside the Pacific Northwest understand how good this guy is? Aldridge is fifth in the league in scoring (23.7 ppg) and is a solid rebounder (8.6) and passer (2.8). If he was in New York or LA, he'd be treated like the star he is.
