News: Westbrook (rest) returned from a one-game absence Wednesday to play 34 minutes. He finished with 22 points, six rebounds, eight assists and six steals. Impact: Westbrook was on regular rest towards the end of the season so he would be healthy for the playoffs. The odds of him resting during the postseason are slim to none, so he should be deployed as usual when the Thunder face the Grizzlies on Saturday.(RotoWire, )

News: Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks says he's sitting Westbrook out of Monday night's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Impact: Brooks says the decision is meant to provide his star point guard with extra rest after the playoff-bound Thunder played in Indianapolis on Sunday. Reggie Jackson is slated to start in Westbrook's place. (STATS, 6:26pm)

News: Westbrook flirted with a triple-double Sunday, but ultimately finished with 21 points (7-23 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 33 minutes. Impact: Westbrook struggled shooting the ball during Sunday's game, but he was able to contribute in other areas to help out his owners. While he was a good option Sunday, he won't play in Monday's game against the Pelicans in order to rest, so arrangements should be made to insert someone else if possible. Reggie Jackson suffered an apparent neck injury which would leave some extra minutes to Derek Fisher and Jeremy Lamb if Jackson will also sit out.(RotoWire, )

News: Westbrook nearly had a triple-double on Sunday versus Indiana as Oklahoma City failed to lock up the second seed in the West. Impact: Westbrook scored 21 points, grabbed nine rebounds and handed out seven assists. He made 7 of 23 shots and had four turnovers.(STATS, 3:17pm)

News: Westbrook will play Sunday versus the Pacers, but will sit out Monday's contest against the Pelicans, The Oklahoman reports. Impact: Westbrook has routinely sat out at least one game of Oklahoma City's recent back-to-back sets, so Monday's absence will be nothing new since the Thunder play Sunday as well. A fantasy stud when he's on the court, Westbrook has averaged over 23 points, six assists, and five rebounds during his past 10 outings. Production like that makes him a must-start Sunday versus a struggling Indiana squad.(RotoWire, )

News: Westbrook (knee) returned from a one-game absence Wednesday to record 30 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and two steals in 33 minutes. Impact: Westbrook will likely miss either Sunday's or Monday's game, but will likely be good to go for Friday's contest against the Pelicans. The Thunder have been sitting their point guard for one of their back-to-back games in the hope that he'll be fresh for the playoffs. When available, he should be inserted into every lineup across all formats.(RotoWire, )

News: Westbrook (knee) is confirmed to sit Tuesday against the Kings, the Sacramento Bee reports. Impact: This shouldn't come as a surprise to owners, as Westbrook was slated to miss one out of two games of back-to-back series. In light of this news, expect him to play Wednesday against the Clippers.(RotoWire, )
Tue. Apr 8, 2014
News: Westbrook (knee) sat out the physical portion of Tuesday's shootaround, icing his knee, and he appears unlikely to play Tuesday, which would make him probable Wednesday, the Oklahoman reports. Impact: Westbrook is being held out of one game of every back-to-back set, so he'll also probably sit out one of the Thunder's games this weekend when they have another back-to-back on Sunday and Monday.(RotoWire, )
Tue. Apr 8, 2014
News: Westbrook (knee) may sit out Tuesday's game against the Kings to rest, the Oklahoman reports. Impact: This shouldn't come as a surprise, as Westbrook has been given nights off to rest his knee for the playoffs. If Westbrook sits, expect Reggie Jackson to start in his place.(RotoWire, )
Apr 6, 2014
News: Westbrook (knee maintenance) returned to action Sunday, starting at point guard and putting up 33 points, four rebounds, eight assists, two blocks, and two three-pointers in 33 minutes. Impact: Jeez oh Pizza the Hut. Westbrook is on a minutes limit that may last into the playoffs, and they won't play him in both games of a back-to-back set, but Westbrook continues to play at an All-Star level whenever he's in the lineup. Though the Thunder have four games this week, it's possible Westbrook will only play in two of those games, depending on how the Thunder decide to rest him for their back-to-backs. We're still using Westbrook in most weekly lineups, but it comes with a certain risk. The Thunder's first back-to-back this week is Tuesday and Wednesday, so daily league players will want to watch for which game Westbrook is going to sit out when setting their lineups.(RotoWire, )

News: Westbrook (knee) will start Sunday's contest against the Suns, Arizona Sports reports. Impact: Westbrook was expected to start Sunday and only sat out Friday as a precaution. Westbrook will continue to start going forward, but may not play in back-to-back sets just yet.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Apr 4, 2014
News: Westbrook (knee) will not play Friday against the Rockets, the San Antonio Express-News reports. Impact: This comes as no surprise, as Westbrook was slated to rest for either Thursday's game against the Spurs or Friday's game against the Rockets. Expect Reggie Jackson to start in his place.(RotoWire, )

Impact: Westbrook had an efficient game Thursday as the Thunder snapped the Spurs' 19-game win streak. He continues to be a great source of production while often only playing around 30 minutes, and can produce points, rebounds, assists, and steals on a regular basis.(RotoWire, )
