News: Speights scored nine points (4-of-13 FG) with seven rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in 16 minutes in Monday's win over the Timberwolves. Those 13 field-goal attempts were the fourth highest behind Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and David Lee. Impact: We learned the Warriors will move forward into the postseason without the services of Andrew Bogut (broken rib) for an indefinite period of time. That makes Speights a viable candidate for enhanced minutes and scoring opportunities.(RotoWire, )

News: Speights scored 16 points (7-of-11 FG, 2-of-2 FT) with eight rebounds and a steal in Friday night's win over the Lakers. He's posted double-digit scoring in three of the past five games and is averaging 10.8 points and 6.5 rebounds in the last 11 games. Impact: Even with the return of David Lee (hamstring) on Friday, Speights was needed to offset the unavailability of Jermaine O'Neal (knee). It's been a largely forgettable first season with Golden State, but Speights is finishing well. Lee's return could impact Speights' minutes, but with the Warriors having clinched the postseason, both Lee and O'Neal will have their minutes kept in check to preserve them for the playoffs.(RotoWire, )
