News: Lin (illness) missed Tuesday's practice but he managed to play 25 minutes in Game 2 on Wednesday. He finished with five points (1-5 FG, 3-4 FT, 0-3 3Pt), three rebounds, five assists and one steal. Impact: Now that the playoffs have arrived, it takes a lot to hold guys out of the lineup if they're normal contributors. Lin played four minutes under his season average but you're splitting hairs if you try to attribute that to his illness. It seems likely that he'll be ready when the Rockets play the Blazers once again Friday.(RotoWire, )

News: Lin could be given the day off on Wednesday in Denver, the Houston Chronicle reports. Impact: As the Rockets are essentially locked into the four seed in the playoffs, head coach Kevin McHale may choose to rest some starters on Wednesday. With Wednesday's game being the second of a back-to-back and the team not arriving in Denver until 4:15 am this morning, Lin and the other starters could get the day off. There won't be any minutes restrictions on players; they will either play in full capacity or not play at all, so make sure to check if Lin is in the starting lineup on Wednesday.(RotoWire, )
