News: Aminu came off the bench Friday against the Thunder, playing 15 minutes, scoring two points (1-2 FG) and notching one assist in the game. Impact: Aminu has been largely ineffective for the last several weeks, and so the demotion to the bench unit should come as little surprise. With fewer minutes and a decreased role, however, Aminu all but disappeared from the box score.(RotoWire, )

News: Aminu will not start at power forward for Friday's game against the Thunder, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Impact: This is a bit of a strange announcement, as the Pelicans have not announced their starting lineup yet. However, coach Monty Williams told reporters Aminu would not start at power forward. With Anthony Davis (back) shut down for the season, Aminu got the start in his place Wednesday against the Suns. He scored just five points and grabbed five rebounds in 22 minutes, apparently not enough production to earn the favor of his head coach. Given the wording of the news, it's still a possibility Aminu could start at small forward, but it's difficult to speculate until the official lineup is released later this evening.(RotoWire, )

News: Starting in place of Anthony Davis (back), Aminu scored five points (2-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and grabbed five rebounds in 22 minutes against Phoenix on Wednesday night. Impact: Despite the start, Aminu was basically in the same role he's been in all year. His usage rate is far too low to warrant any fantasy value, and while he does an OK job on the glass, he's just not worth the play even if Davis continues to miss time.(RotoWire, )

News: Aminu will get the start in place of Anthony Davis (back) Wednesday against the Suns, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Impact: With Davis out of the lineup, Aminu will make his 65th start of the season. While he's a solid per-minute rebounder, Aminu isn't much of a scorer and doesn't garner overly significant fantasy value.(RotoWire, )
