News: Carter came off the bench to provide a game-high 12 assists to Denver's victory over Oklahoma City on Wednesday night. [-]
Impact: With Ty Lawson grounded due to a sore shoulder, Carter has gotten an opportunity to re-establish himself and has looked good so far. He shot just four times (making two), but he chipped in three boards and one block with only two turnovers in the win. Whether there is a new competition forming for the backup PG spot remains to be seen, but clearly Carter still has the ability to produce.
