Impact: With the Clippers' season coming to a close, Griffin's final regular season numbers looked like this: 54.9 field-goal percentage, 52.1 free-throw percentage, 20.7 points, 10.9 boards, and 3.2 assists. His 2011-12 numbers took a slight hit from his rookie season, but still were right around the averages everyone expected when drafting him. He was also one of the few players to average a double-double for the entire season (finishing with 41 in 66 games played). However, the glaring criticism directed towards Griffin this season was his poor free-throw shooting. His clip dropped from an acceptable 64.2 percent last season to just 52.1 percent this year, a trend that has many worrying that he could become a free-throw percentage liability similar to Dwight Howard. And unlike Howard, Griffin doesn't block enough shots (0.7 blocks per game) to make up for the lost category. He is still only 23 years old, so there is plenty of time for him to correct his flaws. Heading into next year's drafts, he should be considered a third to fourth round draft pick based on his scoring, rebounds, field-goal percentage, and the potential for improvement.
