News: Andersen's 2011-12 season turned out to be one to forget as he saw his playing time disappear and ended the year by getting investigated for internet crimes against children. [-]
Impact: Andersen is not that far removed from averaging 6.4 points, 6.2 boards, and 2.5 blocks in a little over 20 minutes a night in 2008. We're not sure why he became the odd man out, but when Kenneth Faried blossomed into a better player than most expected, it was Andersen who suffered. Heading into the offseason there is significant speculation that the club won't be bringing Andersen back, especially if they sign JaVale McGee. We still think the guy can produce; he just needs the proper situation and, more importantly, to get cleared of any potential charges he might face this summer.
