News: Rose (knee) won't return at any point in the Bulls' playoff run, even though he's making solid progress and is hopeful that he'll be a participant for Team USA in the World Cup of Basketball this summer in Spain, ESPN reports. Impact: Bulls' general manager Gar Forman continued to deny that Rose could make a return at some point in this year's postseason, but Forman does believe that Rose will be 100 percent at the commencement of next season. The former MVP still has a long road to recovery that will undoubtedly be spotlighted throughout its process.(RotoWire, )

News: Rose will have an opportunity to show he is healthy enough to play for the U.S. at the World Cup of Basketball. Impact: USA Basketball managing director Jerry Colangelo says the injured Chicago Bulls guard will be invited to training camp in July and ''is welcome to show us where he is.'' Colangelo said Wednesday that if Rose is ready, ''he has a chance to make the team.'' Rose had surgery in November to repair torn cartilage in his right knee, and the Bulls said he would miss the rest of the season. But Colangelo says Chicago is encouraging Rose and USA Basketball to consider him playing this summer.(STATS, 1:15pm)
