News: Garrett finished the season as the legitimate backup point guard behind Trey Burke and will spend the offseason working out with other NBA comrades like Wesley Matthews in Milwaukee, the Deseret News reports. Impact: Garrett has a team option contract status heading into next year. He intends to work on his game throughout the offseason by also participating in the Summer League. The 25-year-old is at the point in his career where he's gotten a taste of what it's like to be an NBA player but needs to make strides during the summer in order to spend more significant time on the court. He finished the season averaging 14.8 minutes per game in which he produced 3.5 points, 1.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.1 blocks.(RotoWire, )

News: Garrett played 15 minutes Saturday and finished with two points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one steal. Impact: Garrett has proven himself to be the Jazz's backup point guard but that hasn't necessarily led to a boost in production by any means. He's progressing in his second season and will likely play around the 14.8 minutes per game that he averages during Utah's final two contests.(RotoWire, )
