News: Wade (knee) says he feels better going into this postseason than he did last postseason, the Sun-Sentinal reports. Impact: Wade missed Game 4 of the Heat's first-round series against the Bucks last season to rest his knee, but the absence may have been tied to the fact that the Heat were up 3-0 in the series and ended up sweeping the Bucks without him in the fourth and final game. He averaged 22 minutes per game over the Heat's final three games of the regular season, but the minutes limit he was held to in those games will be lifted for the playoffs. If you're playing in any playoff leagues, it should be safe to draft Wade high. It appears the 28 games of rest the Heat gave him this season may just pay off.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade scored 16 points (6-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT) to go along with four assists and two rebounds against the Sixers on Wednesday night. Impact: Prior to Saturday, Wade had missed nine straight games nursing a hamstring injury. Since then, he's averaged 16.5 points, 2.0 assists and 1.5 rebounds in 21 minutes over three games. It's hard to get a real read on him considering these games didn't mean anything and LeBron James missed two of them. But he looks healthy for what it's worth and with a few days off before Game 1, he should be as close to 100 percent as he's going to get.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade will start Wednesday's season finale against the Sixers, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Impact: Wade was considered probable all along, but some doubt remained considering Wednesday's game is virtually meaningless. However, it appears Wade will use the contest as a tune-up for the playoffs, which begin on Sunday for Miami.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade will likely suit up for the Heat in their final regular season on Wednesday, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports. Impact: Wade has been playing limited minutes in the last two games and sat out the nine previous to that. It seems as though he will work in some minutes on the season finale, but since the Heat have nothing to play for, he will probably play limited minutes again.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade scored nine points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with three assists and two steals in 18 minutes Monday against the Wizards. Impact: Wade only played limited minutes Monday, and there's a chance he might not play at all Wednesday against Philadelphia, as the Heat rest their star players for a playoff run.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade is still on a minutes limit, Turner Sports reports. Impact: Wade played just 23 minutes Saturday and said that he'll get enough run to stay in rhythm, so we wouldn't expect him to see 30-plus minutes Monday, even with LeBron James (rest) and Chris Bosh (rest) both getting the night off.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade went through the whole shootaround for the Heat on Monday, and is expected to play Monday against the Wizards, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. Impact: Wade returned to the lineup on Saturday for the first time since March 26, scoring 24 points in 23 minutes of action. Following Monday morning's shootaround, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said that Wade felt strong, so there appears to be no lingering effects from the injury. Wade should be ready to go for Monday.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade scored 24 points (10-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-9 FT) in 23 minutes in his first game since Mar. 26, as the Heat were beaten by the Hawks on Saturday. Impact: Wade looked good (apart from his stroke at the free throw line) in his return to the court. He may see limited minutes in the Heat's last two games of the regular season.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade (hamstring) will play Saturday at Atlanta, saying, "Now it's about getting comfortable and pushing it to see where I'm at." Impact: Wade has missed nine straight games and won't play his full complement of minutes. It will be interesting to see how his hamstring holds up.(RotoWire, )
Sat. Apr 12, 2014
News: Wade (hamstring) is a game-time decision for Saturday's game against the Hawks. Impact: Wade has missed nine straight games with a hamstring issue. The playoffs are not far off, so it would be good to see the off-guard play even limited minutes to shake off some rust.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade (hamstring) will not play Friday against Indiana, the Heat's official Twitter account reports. Impact: Wade has not played since aggravating his hamstring in Miami's most recent game against the Pacers on Mar. 26. However, despite being ruled out Friday, Wade has ramped up his on-court workouts recently, so he's thought to be nearing a return to game action. Until then, expect Toney Douglas to occupy the Heat's starting shooting guard position, although Ray Allen is the better fantasy option with Wade out.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade (hamstring) is drawing closer to a return to the court, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. Nevertheless, coach Erik Spoelstra said, "He [Wade] has to pass a battery of tests before we take him to the next level." Impact: Wade completed a rigorous on-court workout before Wednesday's defeat in Memphis, implying that his hamstring concern is nearly behind him. His exact odds of suiting up for Friday's showdown with the Pacers are unclear, but if the Heat opt for another day off, Toney Douglas will man two-guard once again.(RotoWire, )
Wed. Apr 9, 2014
News: Wade (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup with the Grizzlies. Impact: Wade's absence continues for the second straight week, as he has not played since Miami's showdown with the Pacers on Mar. 26. His status going forward remains unclear, but with Miami's focus shifting to the playoffs, Wade should be considered a nightly game-time call. Expect Toney Douglas to continue starting in his place.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade (hamstring) will not play Tuesday against the Nets, the Miami Herald reports. Impact: The Heat are being extremely cautious about Wade, and it appears he'll ride the pine again. He's been missing several games this season, and owners can just hope he plays a few more games down thw stretch.(RotoWire, )

News: Wade will miss Sunday's contest against the Knicks, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Impact: Wade has been dealing with the hamstring injury for a while now and has also strained his achilles on March 16. The Heat will likely take things easy with Wade to get him healthy for the team's playoff run.(RotoWire, )
