News: Murphy spent the first half of his rookie season with the Bulls but ended with the Jazz and now hopes to remain in Utah going into next season, the Deseret News reports. Impact: Th Bulls gave up on their 49th overall pick in last year's draft, but Murphy landed on a team in the Jazz that is full of young guys that are looking to grow together. He was unable to get on the court with the Jazz due to the steep learning curve and short time before the season ended. He'll look to improve on his shooting ability and quickness in the Las Vegas Summer League to get a contract offer from the Jazz in the offseason.(RotoWire, )

News: Murphy is available for Wednesday's game against the Wolves, his first activation since signing with Utah earlier this month. Impact: Murphy signed with the Jazz on April 5 and is yet to make his first appearance with the team. That could change Wednesday, though Murphy is is by no means a strong fantasy option.(RotoWire, )

News: Murphy shouldn't be expected to receive significant minutes in the Jazz's final games but he'll likely see extended run during the Las Vegas Summer League, the Deseret News reports. Impact: Murphy was a very late acquisition by the Jazz after they waived Andris Biedrins. The rookie was mainly signed in preparation for next season so using him now stands a poor chance at amounting much success.(RotoWire, )

News: Murphy doesn't stand a good chance of getting much playing time with the Jazz this season, the Salt Lake City Tribune reports. "It would [slow down practices] if we were trying to get him a lot of stuff in and trying to get him into a lot of different sets, but at this juncture, there's not a lot of time," said coach Ty Corbin. Impact: The Jazz only have five remaining games on their schedule and it doesn't sound like Murphy will be a factor in any of them. He's yet another young player in need of experience on a team full of unproven talent. Even though he stands a lot to gain from spending some time on the floor, so do the majority of the Jazz players that have been with the team all season.(RotoWire, )
