News: The NBA announced Monday afternoon that Noah is the Defensive Player of the Year. He joins Michael Jordan in 1988 as the only Chicago Bulls players to win the award. Impact: The recognition comes after Noah helped Chicago win 48 games and capture homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs despite losing Derrick Rose to a season-ending knee injury and trading away Luol Deng. Noah got 555 out of a possible 1,125 points, including 100 out of a possible 125 first-place votes from a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters. He averaged career highs of 12.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists this season. (STATS, 3:20pm)

News: Noah squeaked out a double-double during Sunday's Game 1 versus the Wizards. He managed to put up 10 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in 40 minutes. Impact: Even though Noah recorded a double-double, it was a disappointment because the Bulls still lost and he's actually performed much better throughout the regular season. He'll have a chance at redemption during Tuesday's Game 2.(RotoWire, )

News: Noah had 12 rebounds and 10 assists with six points (2-10 FG, 2-2 FT) in 40 minutes in the win over the Pistons on Friday. He added two steals and three blocks. News: Noah scored 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-2 FT) to go along with 13 rebounds, 10 assists and two blocks in 41 minutes against Minnesota on Wednesday night. Impact: It's more of the same for Noah, who continues to fill the stat sheet at absurd levels for a center. It was surprisingly only his third triple-double since the all-star break, but he's pretty much a threat to do it on any night. Add that to his typical handful of blocks or steals and you have arguably the best all-around fantasy player in the game.(RotoWire, )
