News: Mayo's first season in Milwaukee was a disaster as he missed 30 games and averaged a career-low 25.9 minutes. Impact: The Bucks brought in the 26-year-old as a free agent after he spent last season starting all 82 games and averaging 15.3 points for the Mavericks. Expected to be the team's offensive leader, Mayo got off to a slow start and never really recovered. He shot below 40 percent for the first three months of the season before a series of minor injuries and generally poor play landed him on the bench. Mayo appeared in only 52 games, missing the final 11 contests with an ankle injury. While he'd put up the occasional 20-point game when given the opportunity, Mayo's limited role resulted in his conditioning noticeably declining after the All-Star break. He finished the season averaging 11.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 40.7 percent from the floor and 37.0 percent from three. The three-year deal Mayo signed last summer keeps him in Milwaukee for the next two seasons at $8 million apiece. But since year one was such a disaster, it wouldn't be a surprise if Milwaukee looked the shop the veteran this offseason.(RotoWire, )

Impact: Mayo hasn't played since the end of March, and it's beginning to look like he may not return at all with the season ending in less than a week. News: Mayo (ankle) will not play Wednesday versus the Pacers. Impact: It's unknown when, or if, Mayo will return to the lineup with only five games remaining on the schedule (including Wednesday). He'll sit out his seventh straight contest with an ankle injury, which will continue to free up minutes for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Chris Wright off the bench.(RotoWire, )
