News: Beverley (knee) will play in Game 2 on Wednesday, the Houston Chronicle reports. Impact: Beverley played 38 minutes in Games 1 and was cleared to play for Game 2 after undergoing an MRI on Monday. The report also indicates Beverley missed Wednesday morning's shoot around with a family issue, but it shouldn't affect his availability for Game 2.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley has been cleared to play in Game 2 on Wednesday night after injuring his right knee in the opening game of the first-round playoff series against Portland. The Houston point guard was hurt when LaMarcus Aldridge knocked him down setting a pick with about a minute left in the Trail Blazers' 122-120 overtime win on Sunday night. He missed eight games late in the season because of a torn meniscus in the same knee. Impact: Beverley says he felt pain in the same area where he was injured before when he was knocked down on Sunday night. He didn't feel any pain on Monday morning and says he'll be ready to play on Wednesday. He had nine points and six rebounds in Game 1. (STATS, 3:47pm)

News: Beverley (knee) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's Game 2 against the Blazers, Yahoo! Sports reports. Impact: Beverley sustained a knock to his injured right knee during Sunday's Game 1 loss, but medical examination afterward revealed no new damage. The point guard recently missed eight games due to a torn meniscus, so it's fortunate that he avoided another extended setback. A tough-minded defender, Beverley is expected to play through whatever discomfort on Wednesday, although his situation will probably result in Jeremy Lin handling additional point guard duties.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley has a sprained right knee and will undergo an MRI on Monday to check and see if he aggravated the torn meniscus injury that held him out of eight games near the end of the regular season, Yahoo! Sports reports. Impact: Beverley played 38 minutes in Sunday's Game 1 overtime loss to the Trail Blazers, but his aggressive play appears to have taken its toll on his body. It'd be great if Beverley could find a way to be aggressive and be an agitator without destroying his body, but if you watch him play, it's hard to imagine him dialing it back on the court. While we'll probably get an announcement before the Rockets' next game Wednesday, if you're planning ahead, survivor pool players may want to consider using a Rocket or two in case they don't make it out of the first round.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley (knee) had 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting in 36 minutes Monday. Impact: Apparently his knee was feeling better as he was able to play most of the game. Don't be surprised if Beverley is limited in the season finale with home-court advantage locked up for the first round.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley (knee) will play and get the start Monday against the Spurs. Impact: Beverley was seen clutching his knee at the very end of Saturday's game but can't be ailing too much, if he's starting Monday with the Rockets locked into a playoff spot. Deploy him as usual.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley returned from his torn meniscus Saturday versus the Pelicans but was seen clutching his knee at the very end of the game. Nonetheless, he scored 20 points (6-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT) with three rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in 33 minutes. Impact: Assuming the knee issue that caused Beverley to be subbed out at the end of the contest isn't a major concern, he should have decent value in the steal, three-pointer and assist categories for the last few days of the season. Keep an eye on any updates regarding the status of his knee.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley (knee) will not play Friday versus Minnesota, the Rockets' official Twitter account reports. Impact: Beverley is apparently edging closer to a return from the torn meniscus he suffered Mar. 27. Although he won't play Friday, the hard-nosed defender has stated he intends on playing before the playoffs. With that in mind, Beverley's status should be monitored on a day-to-day basis, but Jeremy Lin should continue to start for the time being.(RotoWire, )
