News: Ariza finished Sunday's playoff game with 18 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block in 38 minutes. Impact: Ariza has had his ups and downs all season but this is likely a typical performance out of the veteran. His team enjoyed a win Sunday, as a result, the Bulls will likely be firing on all cylinders during Game 2 on Tuesday. Ariza and his fellow starters distributed the ball amongst each other well so he stands just as good of a chance to have a breakout performance as any other Wizard.(RotoWire, )

News: Ariza scored 25 points Monday to lead the Wizards, who shot 59 percent and made 14 3-pointers and remain one game ahead of the Bobcats in the race for the No. 6 seed. Impact: He totaled 23 points in the previous four contests.(STATS, 01:17am)

News: Ariza (illness) did not score (0-6 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT) in 39 minutes Wednesday versus Charlotte. Impact: Ariza overcame illness to start as usual Wednesday, but the small forward surprisingly offered absolutely nothing in the scoring department despite nearing 40 minutes. While it's certainly not ideal timing for Ariza to lay an egg on his fantasy owners, he's bound for an improved performance Friday in Orlando.(RotoWire, )

News: Ariza (illness) participated in morning shootaround and has been cleared to play Wednesday against the Bobcats, CSN Washington reports. Impact: The Wizards will certainly be happy to have Ariza at full strength, as Charlotte is only one game behind them for the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference. Expect Ariza to start and play 30-35 minutes, while putting up numbers close to his season averages of 14.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists.(RotoWire, )
