Clippers update: Former Warriors point guard Baron Davis is averaging 11.4 points on 33.3 percent shooting so far. He's 5-for-19 from 3-point range. ... After opening the season with a four-game losing streak, the Clippers outlasted visiting Minnesota to win their first game of the season. ... Coach Mike Dunleavy Sr. made a lineup change after the season-opening skid, replacing Al Thornton with Rasual Butler at small forward. Butler is expected to start tonight. Thornton, who is ill, missed Thursday's practice but did make the trip. ... Without rookie power forward Blake Griffin, who is out with a stress fracture in his left kneecap, the Clippers have been starting the Twin Towers lineup of 7-footer Chris Kaman and 6-11 center Marcus Camby. The two are combining to average 34 points, 20.6 rebounds and 4.2 blocks per game.
