by Grand Rapid Press
-- The Pistons' playoff run began in 2001-02, but the current group, starting with Hamilton and Prince, began the following season.
-- Pistons coach Michael Curry played the 2002-03 season with Hamilton and Prince.
-- Detroit acquired Rasheed Wallace in February 2004 in a three-way trade with Boston and Atlanta for Chucky Atkins, Lindsey Hunter, Bobby Sura and Zeljko Rebraca and a first-round draft pick after Wallace played only one game for Atlanta.
-- Getting Rasheed Wallace in 2004 was the final piece of what would be the Pistons' first NBA championship since 1989-90.
-- Four coaches have led the Pistons since the 2002-03 season -- Rick Carlisle, Larry Brown, Flip Saunders and Michael Curry -- with Brown leading the team to the NBA title.
-- The group was broken up when Ben Wallace, now with the Cleveland Cavaliers, left as a free agent after the 2005-06 season, and Chauncey Billups was shipped to Denver
on Nov. 3, 2008, for Allen Iverson.
