For the second straight season, the Warriors finished 4-1 in the summer league.

Morrow set the record on a baseline jumper with just over two minutes to go in the fourth quarter. Morrow connected on 18 of his 26 shot attempts, including 7-for-9 from 3-point range and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.

Morrow scored 20 of his points in the first quarter. He made eight of his 10 shots in that span, including 2-for-2 from 3-point range as the Warriors took a 10-point lead.

Lawrence Hill joined Morrow in double figures for the Warriors , as the former Stanford star knocked down 13 points. New Orleans was led by Marcus Thornton's 21 points.

Randolph has been invited to compete in USA Basketball's minicamp next week in Las Vegas, according to league sources, ESPN.com reported. Randolph is one of more than two dozen young players who have been asked to participate in the camp, which is used to identify possible candidates for Team USA's 2010 world championship team. The U.S. team will practice July 23-24 and play an intrasquad scrimmage on July 25.

Jazz: The team posted on its Web site that it plans to match Portland's offer to forward Paul Millsap, a restricted free agent. A formal announcement was scheduled for today, the last day Utah can match the $32 million deal that includes $10.3 million up front. Millsap averaged 13.5 points and 8.6 rebounds last season, playing mostly as a reserve.

Timberwolves: Minnesota cannot do much financially to help Ricky Rubio with a multimillion-dollar buyout of his contract with DKV Joventut in Spain. So team president David Kahn will head across the Atlantic next week to meet with the team personally in hopes of lowering the $6.6 million price tag that has threatened to keep the wunderkind point guard in Europe for at least next season.

Colorado athletic director Mike Bohn says Basketball coach Jeff Bzdelik had a "casual" conversation with the Timberwolves about their head coaching vacancy.

Knicks: David Lee's unresolved contract situation will keep him on the sideline next week when USA Basketball holds its minicamp in Las Vegas. Mark Bartelstein, Lee's agent, said the forward will travel to Las Vegas but won't take part in competition. Lee is a restricted free agent, and the Knicks can match any offer he receives.
