Report: Iverson to play hoops in Turkey

Eleven-time NBA All-Star Allen Iverson has agreed in principle to a two-year, $4 million deal with Turkish side Besiktas, Yahoo! Sports reported Sunday citing sources.

The 35-year-old is set to sign the new deal this week before reporting to the team the following week, according to the sources.
Iverson averaged 26.7 points in his 14 years in the NBA, and was named MVP in 2001, but had controversial exits from his past three teams -- Detroit, Memphis and Philadelphia.
In February, Iverson left the 76ers indefinitely, saying he needed to attend to his four-year-old daughter Messiah's health issues.
In March, the team announced he would not be back for the rest of the season.
