Report: Chilling 911 call by Wright

Police investigating the shooting of former NBA player Lorenzen Wright are looking into a "chilling" 911 call made from his cell phone, myFOXmemphis.com reported Thursday.
Lorenzen Wright played 13 seasons in the NBA for five different teams.
D. LippittSources who have heard the tape say Wright, a father of six, can be heard screaming before the sound of several gun shots.
Wright's body was found in an overgrown field in southeast Memphis on Wednesday, with sources saying it is likely the spot where he died. Friends say the area was a common shortcut for the 34-year-old when leaving his mother's house.
Officers found at least 10 shells from the same gun while searching for evidence at the scene and discovered that someone had purposely cut the barbed wire on a surrounding fence.
The cause of death has been ruled as "homicide by gunshot wound."
Authorities are looking for multiple suspects in the murder but have not said if any have been identified.
Wright's former classmate Tawana White said she "didn't have a clue" why he was killed. However, according to The Associated Press, Wright's mother said in a missing persons report that her son "probably has a large amount of cash on him.''
The Wright family released a statement Thursday: "Lorenzen's family has come together to mourn his loss and honor his legacy. We appreciate your thoughts, prayers and condolences as they are comforting at this very difficult time. Additionally, we ask that you please respect our privacy as we try to cope with his sudden loss."
The former Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers player had four sons and two daughters, aged 4 to 15.
He was reportedly last seen leaving the house of ex-wife Sherra Robinson Wright nearly a week ago in Memphis and officially reported missing last Thursday.
"We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of Lorenzen Wright," Grizzlies' majority owner Michael Heisley said in a statement. "We lost a member of the Grizzlies family."
Former Hawks head coach Lenny Wilkens said: "It is a tragic loss for his family and they are in my prayers right now. Lorenzen was a real congenial young man who played with a lot of enthusiasm. When people were around him, he was a real delight to be around."
Wright played college basketball at the University of Memphis and was drafted No. 7 overall in 1996 by the L.A. Clippers. He averaged 7.9 points over 13 NBA seasons.
