Suns activate McDyess

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - The Phoenix activated forward from the injured list on Friday. The 29-year-old McDyess had spent the last 15 games on the IL with left knee, quadriceps tendinitis.

McDyess has played in 22 games this season, including four for the since being acquired from New York in the trade that sent guard to the . McDyess has averaged 7.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per contest this year.

The play the Memphis on Friday at The Pyramid and McDyess is expected to be in uniform.

Meanwhile, Phoenix waived forward/center , who was acquired in a trade with the Utah on Thursday.
