Wizards' Arenas misses preseason game

WASHINGTON (AP)
Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas was held out of Tuesday's preseason game against Atlanta with a knee injury.

Washington coach Flip Saunders said before Tuesday night's game that Arenas' knee was bothering him.
''His knee is acting up and is a little sore, and it looks like he's going to sit this one out,'' Saunders said.
It was to be Arenas' first appearance for Washington at the Verizon Center since his 50-game suspension last season for bringing guns into the locker room.
Instead, Nick Young scored 24 points as Arenas' replacement in the starting lineup and rookie John Wall added 19 as the Wizards beat the Hawks, 107-92.
Arenas has maintained a businesslike approach during the preseason, showing little of the charisma that helped make him a star before the scandal.
